Björn Heuser is a singer and Liedermacher (singer-songwriter) from Cologne, born on 7 February 1982 in the Cologne district of Ehrenfeld. He is known for his Kölsch-language music, his devotion to his home city, and his popular sing-along concerts (Mitsingkonzerte), which began in 1999. Over his career he has written around 500 of his own songs in the Cologne dialect. He performs regularly across Cologne and the Rhineland as a champion of the Kölsch language and culture.
