About
Blue Deal are a southern German blues-rock band from the Black Forest region, founded in 2015 by singer Joe Fischer (previously of the Cadillac Blues Band) and Jürgen Schneckenburger. Guitarist Tom Vela has been a permanent member since 2020, and Willi Macht has played bass since the end of 2024. Their debut album "Holy Ground" (2022) was followed by "Can't Kill Me Twice" (2023) and "Make A Change" (2025), the latter two on the DixieFrog Records label. In 2023 the band won the German Blues Challenge as the best German blues band; in 2024 they reached the semi-final of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis and represented Germany at the European Blues Challenge in Braga. Blue Deal have played live in Germany, Switzerland, France, Portugal, the United States and the United Kingdom.
