About
Crypta is a Brazilian death metal band formed in São Paulo in 2019. It was founded by bassist and vocalist Fernanda Lira and drummer Luana Dametto, both former members of the thrash metal band Nervosa. The band's debut album "Echoes of the Soul" was released in 2021 through Napalm Records, followed by their second album "Shades of Sorrow" in 2023. Known for its all-female lineup, Crypta has become one of the most prominent acts in the new wave of Brazilian death metal and tours internationally, including across Germany and Europe.
