Dominique Fils-Aimé is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Montreal, born to Haitian immigrant parents. She rose to prominence with an album trilogy exploring the history of African-American music: Nameless (2018, blues), Stay Tuned! (2019, jazz) and Three Little Words (2021, soul). Stay Tuned! was shortlisted for the 2019 Polaris Music Prize and won the Juno Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year in 2020. Her 2023 album Our Roots Run Deep earned her a second Juno in the same category in 2024, as well as the Félix Award for Jazz Album of the Year. Her latest album, My World Is the Sun (2026), was longlisted for the 2026 Polaris Music Prize.
