About
ECCE is the Brussels-based dance structure of choreographers Claire Croizé and Etienne Guilloteau, who met while training at P.A.R.T.S. After first working together in 2007, they founded the structure Action Scénique in 2008 with performance artist Nada Gambier, and since 2016 have continued their collaboration under the name ECCE, whose letters stand for Etienne and Claire. The two work as separate choreographers with their own artistic languages but from a shared philosophy and shared expertise. Their pieces often sit at the intersection of dance and music, especially live music, and they have collaborated with ensembles including B'Rock, Oxalys, Quatuor MP4 and Zwerm. From 2017 to 2021 they were house artists of Concertgebouw Brugge.
