About

Elena Uhlig (born 1975 in Düsseldorf) is a German actress, author and television presenter. After training at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art in Berlin, she has appeared in more than 90 film and television productions since 2001. She gained wide recognition for her role as detective Nina Metz in the Sat.1 crime series Mit Herz und Handschellen. More recent work includes Der Bremerhaven-Krimi and the series Zimmer mit Stall. She has also written several books, among them the Spiegel bestseller Mein Gewicht und ich, and maintains a strong presence on social media.
