Evildead is an American thrash metal band from Los Angeles, formed in the mid-1980s by former members of Agent Steel and Abattoir. The band takes its name from Sam Raimi's horror classic The Evil Dead. During its initial run, the group released the albums Annihilation of Civilization (1989) and The Underworld (1991) before breaking up in 1995. Following a reunion from 2008 to 2012, the band reformed again in 2016 and has since released two more studio albums, United $tate$ of Anarchy (2020) and Toxic Grace (2024). Guitarist Juan Garcia is the only remaining original member.
