Farid (real name Farid Sascha Zeynalnia, born 1981 near Cologne) is a German magician and illusionist of Iranian descent who grew up in Hagen. He rose to fame in 2008 as the runner-up on the ProSieben show 'The next Uri Geller' and went on to host his own television formats, including 'Street Magic mit Farid', 'Mystified' (MTV) and 'Magic Unplugged' (Sky). He has toured Germany several times, notably with 'Wahre Magie. Echte Illusionen' and his 'Magic Unplugged' tour of nearly 100 shows. In Dortmund in the Ruhr region he opened his own magic theater, 'SECRETS – The Magic Loft'. Guests on his shows have included celebrities from music and sport such as Helene Fischer, Jürgen Klopp and Lukas Podolski.
