About
Hazlett is the stage name of Australian singer-songwriter Mitchell Hazlett Lewis, who works in indie folk. He grew up in Brisbane, where he started out playing covers in local pubs, and before going solo he wrote songs for other artists and played bass for hire. After moving to Sweden he began working with producer Freddy Alexander. His music rests on warm acoustic guitars, a hushed voice and haunting backing vocals; his albums include "Bloom Mountain" and "last night you said you missed me" (2025).
