Herr Schröder is the stage name of Johannes Schröder (born 1974 in Berlin), a German comedian and cabaret artist who previously worked as a secondary-school teacher of German and English. After a sabbatical in Canada, where he discovered stand-up comedy, he took leave from teaching and began touring as a stage performer. In solo programs such as "World of Lehrkraft", "Instagrammatik" and "Der Rest ist Hausaufgabe", he humorously dissects everyday school life from a teacher's perspective. Under the handle "Korrekturensohn" he has built an audience of millions on social media and hosts a popular podcast. His books about the teaching profession have reached the Spiegel bestseller list.
