Holger Paetz, born 23 August 1952 in Munich, is a German cabaret artist, singer-songwriter and author of satirical texts. He grew up in Aschaffenburg and was musically active from his school and university years, among other things in the folk group „Trapaetz“, which he founded. After breaking off his studies in musicology, art history and English in Würzburg he committed to a career on stage, writing his own texts and songs and developing his first solo cabaret programmes; in 1976 he received the songwriter prize of Hessischer Rundfunk, and in 1977 he moved to Munich, where he performed on many small cabaret stages. Alongside „So schön war's noch selten! Der satirische Jahresrückblick“, his official site lists the programmes „Liebes Klima, gute Besserung!“, „Fürchtet Euch! Die Bußpredigt“ and „Auch Veganer verwelken“. He describes himself as a cabaret artist, author and mandocellist.
