Simon & Jan are a German musical cabaret and singer-songwriter duo from Oldenburg, formed in 2006 and made up of Simon Eickhoff and Jan Traphan. They pair melodic compositions on two acoustic guitars with ironic as well as politically and socially critical lyrics. They gained wider recognition performing as the opening act for Götz Widmann and the Monsters of Liedermaching. Their programs have earned several awards, including the German Kleinkunstpreis. Their current touring program is titled „Das Beste“.
