John Doyle (born 1963) is an American comedian, author and host who has performed on German stages since 1995. In his solo programmes he talks about his life as an American living in Germany as well as his experiences as a father and husband. He has been a guest on German TV shows such as NightWash, TV total, Quatsch Comedy Club, the NDR Talkshow and Die Anstalt. His book “Don’t Worry be German” spent several weeks on the Spiegel bestseller list. Since 2015 he has also performed as the “Jecker Ami” in the Rhineland carnival.
