About
Khalid Bounouar (born 27 March 1990 in Eschweiler) is a German comedian and a member of the comedy ensemble RebellComedy. The son of a Moroccan father and an Algerian mother, he grew up in the Aachen district and began studying social sciences at RWTH Aachen before making the stage his full-time profession. He first performed with RebellComedy in 2012, and went on to appear on NightWash, at the Quatsch Comedy Club and on television. In 2018 he toured solo for the first time with his programme Showtime, playing 41 shows across Germany, Austria and Switzerland and mixing stand-up with dance, music and poetry. His awards include the Trier Comedy Slam, the Düsseldorf Comedy Slam and the Constantin Comedy Prize.
