Placebotheater is an improvisational theatre ensemble from Münster, Germany, that has been performing since 1994. Its professional actors create spontaneous scenes on the spot, shaped live by the audience's suggestions and often accompanied by music, song and dance. Beyond entertainment shows, the ensemble also performs on more serious topics at conferences and corporate events. Through its own improv school, the group offers courses that guide participants into the art of improvised play.
