JPEGMAFIA, born Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks in 1989, is an American rapper, singer and record producer. He released his debut album Black Ben Carson (2016) and its follow-up Veteran (2018) independently, both to wide critical acclaim, before All My Heroes Are Cornballs (2019) entered the Billboard 200. He signed to Republic for LP! (2021) and released the collaborative album Scaring the Hoes through AWAL in 2023. More recently he has put out I Lay Down My Life for You (2024) and his sixth studio album, Experimental Rap (2026). Largely self-produced, his work moves between experimental and industrial hip-hop, lo-fi textures and alternative R&B.
