Kalika is a French pop singer-songwriter, born Mia Rosello in 1998 near Avignon in southern France. She first gained public attention as a runner-up on the French talent show Nouvelle Star in 2016. Her music pairs contemporary French pop with direct, personal lyrics that touch on love, sexuality and feminism from a young woman's perspective. She has since built a following as a solo artist.
