Katie Freudenschuss (real name Katja Freudenschuss, born 1976 in Gießen) is a German cabaret artist, musician, composer and songwriter who has lived and worked in Hamburg since 1999. There she completed the pop course at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre. Her stage programs blend stand-up comedy with self-written musical pieces performed at the piano, and she is especially known for her improvisations. Since 2014 she has toured successfully with her solo programs across German-speaking stages. In 2022 she was awarded the German Kleinkunstpreis in the music category.
