LEA, born Lea-Marie Becker in Kassel in 1992, is a German singer-songwriter and pianist. She began uploading her own piano-pop songs to YouTube at the age of 15, later studied music in Hanover and moved to Berlin. Her breakthrough came in 2017 with the single "Leiser", which reached number 13 on the German charts and was certified platinum. Her album "Treppenhaus" (2020) and its title track became major hits, followed in 2021 by the album "Fluss", featuring "Schwarz", a successful collaboration with rapper Casper. With her emotional German-language pop, LEA is now one of Germany's most successful singers.
