Philipp Poisel (born 1983 in Ludwigsburg) is a German singer-songwriter from the Stuttgart region. He was discovered by Herbert Grönemeyer and signed to Grönemeyer's label Grönland Records in 2008. Known for his emotional, poetic pop songs, Poisel reached a wide audience with albums such as "Bis nach Toulouse" and "Projekt Seerosenteich." He performs both solo and as part of his "Freunde" (Friends) tours alongside other artists.
