Madness is a British ska and pop band formed in Camden Town, north London, in 1976. Fronted by singer Suggs (Graham McPherson), the group became one of the defining acts of the 2 Tone and ska-revival movement around 1980. Known for their playful "Nutty Sound", they scored a long run of hits including "Our House", "Baggy Trousers", "It Must Be Love" and "House of Fun". They remain an active touring act and are among the most successful British singles bands of their era.
