Madsen is a German rock band from Prießeck, a part of Clenze in the Wendland region, formed in 2004. Three of its five founding members are brothers whose family name, Madsen, became the band's name. Their sound combines rock, punk, and pop, and their lyrics — written mostly by Sebastian Madsen — are almost entirely in German. The group is regarded as one of Germany's established indie-rock bands.
