Maria Iskariot is a Belgian punk band from Ghent that performs in Dutch. The lineup consists of Helena Cazaerck (vocals and guitar), Loeke Vanhoutteghem (guitar), Amanda Barbosa (bass) and Sybe Versluys (drums). Their music combines raw punk energy with poetic lyrics about growing up, self-discovery and the moral grey zones between good and evil. Having played more than 180 shows across Europe, the band has built a devoted live following. Their debut album Wereldwaan, released in 2025, was warmly received by the music press.
