Martin Schopps is a German cabaret comedian, speaker and host, born in Cologne in 1974. He studied sports and German and initially worked as a teacher in those subjects. Since 2001 he has performed in the Cologne Carnival and is among the most sought-after speakers in the Rhineland. Since 2010 he has given over 200 performances a year, ranging from small halls to large venues such as the LANXESS Arena. He also appears regularly on German television on ARD, ZDF and WDR.
