About

Räuber (styled RÄUBER, also known as De Räuber) is a band founded in Cologne in 1991 by Karl-Heinz Brand and Kurt Feller. Their repertoire is mostly Kölsch-dialect carnival music, mixed with standard-German songs and pop-rock influences. The group has reached the German single charts several times and has won awards including the Närrischer Oskar. Their current line-up features Sven West, Kurt Feller, Thommy Pieper, Martin Zänder and Andreas "Schrader" Dorn, and they perform more than a hundred concerts and carnival shows each year.
