Masud Akbarzadeh is a German-Iranian stand-up comedian and cabaret artist who moved from Iran to Berlin with his family as a child and grew up in Berlin-Neukölln. After dropping out of law and medicine studies and completing acting/directing training in California, he gained his first stand-up experience in San Francisco before starting to perform in Germany from January 2012. Since 2012 he has hosted Berlin's Scheinbar Varieté, and since 2014 he has toured Germany with his own solo shows. He became known to wider audiences through TV appearances on "Pufpaffs Happy Hour," "Die Anstalt," and the "RTL Comedy Grand Prix," as well as recurring slots on "Quatsch Comedy Club" and "Nuhr im Ersten."
