About
Simone Solga (born 6 August 1963 in Gera) is a German cabaret artist, actress and singer. After studying acting at the Theaterhochschule Leipzig, she performed at the Leipziger Pfeffermühle and was an ensemble member of the Münchner Lach- und Schießgesellschaft from 1995 to 2000. Since 2000 she has toured as a solo performer with programmes such as "Kanzlersouffleuse," "Bei Merkels unterm Sofa" and "Das gibt Ärger." A regular guest on German political cabaret shows including "Die Anstalt" and "nuhr im Ersten," she has received honours such as the Deutscher Kabarettpreis (2014) and the Deutscher Kleinkunstpreis (2018).
