Ausbilder Schmidt is the stage persona of German comedian Holger Müller, born in 1969 in Idar-Oberstein. After graduating from the Cologne Comedy School, he created the character of a barking German army drill instructor in 1999. He has toured continuously since 2001, performing more than 5,000 live shows, which makes him one of Germany's most successful live comedians. His parade-ground humor and mock military command tone have earned him a loyal following across the country.
