Cindy aus Marzahn is the stage character of comedian Ilka Bessin, who comes from Luckenwalde in Brandenburg. The character is a long-term unemployed woman from Berlin-Marzahn who cultivates an ironic princess image in pink clothes and a tiara and comments on life with dry sarcasm. Bessin rose to fame as Cindy through the Quatsch Comedy Club, followed by her own TV shows and appearances as Markus Lanz’s assistant on “Wetten, dass..?”. After performing under her own name as a comedian for some years, she returned to the role for her stage anniversary.
