Atze Schröder is one of the best-known comedy characters in the German comedy scene, portrayed by entertainer Hubertus Albers. Recognizable by his curly wig and tinted glasses, he plays a self-assured working-class "Ruhrpott" persona with a bold, humorous style. He rose to fame through the Quatsch Comedy Club and the RTL series "Alles Atze." For more than two decades he has toured with live stage programs, currently "LOVEMACHINE." He is also active as a podcaster and author.
