Oliver Kalkofe is a German comedian, actor, satirist, and parodist, born in 1965 in Engelbostel, Lower Saxony. He began his media career as a radio host and rose to prominence from 1990 with the comedy show Frühstyxradio on the station ffn, for which he created many offbeat characters. Among the best known were his character Onkel Hotte and the duo Die Arschkrampen. Kalkofe also works as a cabaret artist, presenter, and voice and audiobook narrator.
