About

MM Contemporary Dance Company is an Italian dance company based in Reggio Emilia. It was founded in 1999 as a permanent production centre for performances and as a promoter of projects and workshops fostering exchange between Italian and international artists. It is directed by choreographer Michele Merola, formerly a dancer with the Toulon Opera House, Aterballetto and the Arena di Verona. Its repertoire is rooted in contemporary dance, and the company tours in Europe, Asia and South America.
