About

Novulent (born 6 June 2004) is an American musician, singer and songwriter from Dallas, Texas, whose parents immigrated from Zimbabwe before their birth. Novulent first gained attention in 2023 with the singles "Savior" and "Scars", both of which went viral on TikTok; "Scars" charted on Billboard's Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart and was certified Gold by the RIAA. Their sound blends shoegaze and dream pop with elements of alternative metal, nu metal, grunge and slowcore, citing Deftones as a key influence. Having started out recording on a phone via BandLab, Novulent signed to Capitol Records in 2024 and released the album "Vol. 3" in February 2026.
