About
Peter Bursch's All Star Band is a large music ensemble built around the Duisburg guitarist Peter Bursch (born 14 April 1949 in Duisburg), best known as the author of popular guitar tutors — his "Peter Bursch's Gitarrenbuch" of 1975 became a bestseller. Since 1992 the band has played its pre-Christmas "Acoustic Nights" concert series in Duisburg, first at changing venues, from 2015 at Dellplatz and most recently at BORA. The shows run through rock and pop songs of the past fifty years, often joined by surprise guests. The evening traditionally closes with "Silent Night" in the All Star Band's own arrangement.
