RebellComedy is a German stand-up comedy ensemble founded in 2006, whose TV format has aired on WDR television since 2014. Its members include founders Babak Ghassim and Usama Elyas, along with Benaissa Lamroubal, Khalid Bounouar, Hany Siam, Salim Samatou and Alain Frei. The group blends stand-up with black humor, dance, singing and poetry, addressing cultural backgrounds and stereotypes with plenty of self-irony. RebellComedy performs at venues of all sizes and is also widely known through YouTube and its own podcast.
