RIN, born Renato Šimunović in 1994 and raised in Bietigheim-Bissingen near Stuttgart, is one of the defining voices of contemporary German rap. He broke through in 2016 with “Bianco”, a collaboration with Viennese rapper Yung Hurn. The albums “Eros” (2017), “Nimmerland” (2019) and “Kleinstadt” (2021) all entered the German top five, and “Eros” won him the 1Live Krone for best album. His records pair trap production and auto-tuned melody with a lyrical world that swings between designer labels and small-town Swabia. The 18-track album “Nostalgia” arrived in July 2026 and takes him on an arena tour from November 2026, including a night at the Halle Münsterland in Münster.
