Rose Tattoo is an Australian hard rock band formed in Sydney in 1976. Fronted by singer Angry Anderson, the group blends street-level hard rock with blues rock, driven by a distinctive slide-guitar sound. Their debut album Rose Tattoo (1978) and Assault and Battery (1981) brought them international recognition. The band became a major influence on the hard rock and sleaze-metal scene and was admired by acts such as Guns N' Roses. Rose Tattoo was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2006.
