Swiss & Die Andern formed in Hamburg in 2014 around singer and rapper Swiss, with Jakob Schulze on guitar, Matze Grimm on bass, Tobias Gerth on drums and Da Wizard on the decks. Their sound is fast punk laced with crossover and hip-hop; the band calls it “Zekkenrap” and writes from an openly left-wing position about nationalism, gentrification and the punk scene itself. After “Große Freiheit” (2015) and “Missglückte Welt” (2016), “Randalieren für die Liebe” (2018) reached number two in Germany, followed by “Saunaclub” (2020), “Orphan” (2021), the chart-topping “Erstmal zu Penny” (2023) and “Punk ist tot” (2025). The “Punk lebt” tour 2026 stops in Düsseldorf and Münster.
