About
The Haunted is a Swedish metal band formed in Gothenburg in 1996. The group grew out of the Gothenburg scene, built around guitarist Patrik Jensen together with several former members of the influential death metal band At the Gates. Their sound blends melodic death metal with thrash metal and has been a reference point for the Gothenburg metal style. Across many studio albums the band has developed a strong international following and continues to tour Europe.
