Truck Stop is a German country band founded in 1973 in Seevetal-Maschen near Hamburg and widely regarded as a pioneer of German-language country music. The group initially performed in English but switched to German in 1977, achieving its breakthrough with the album Zuhause. Over the following decades the band scored numerous chart hits and released around 40 albums. With a career spanning more than fifty years, Truck Stop is one of the longest-running and best-known acts in Germany's country scene and remains active today.
