Vega (real name André Witter, born 1985 in Langen, Hesse) is a German rapper from the Rhine-Main region. He started his career in the mid-2000s, partly as a member of the crew Rare-Squad, and drew attention with the Unzerfikkbar mixtape in 2005. In 2011 he founded the label Freunde von Niemand, followed by Über die Grenze in 2015. Albums such as Vincent (2012), Nero (2013) and the chart-topping Kaos (2015) firmly established him in the German charts. Later releases like Locke (2020) and König ohne Krone (2025) also reached high chart positions.
