Wildes Holz is a German instrumental trio founded in 1998, known for its unusual line-up of recorder, guitar and double bass. The band was started by recorder player Tobias Reisige, guitarist Anto Karaula and double bassist Markus Conrads; since 2021 Johannes Behr has been the guitarist. Across more than 2,000 concerts and around 14 CDs, the trio blends original compositions with classics from pop, rock, jazz and classical music. Their distinctive wooden instrumentation has made them an exceptional phenomenon in the German music scene.
