Wolf Codera (born 12 October 1961 in Bochum) is a German saxophonist and clarinetist. He took up the clarinet at the age of eleven and won the "Jugend jazzt" youth jazz competition as a clarinetist, while teaching himself the saxophone. After the lung disease sarcoidosis forced him to abandon his medical studies, he turned to music professionally, working as a studio musician, music teacher and composer of jingles and background music for radio and television. His illness inspired him to develop the "Reso-blade" key discs, which require less breath to play. He has toured with artists such as Anna Maria Kaufmann and Peter Hofmann and founded the ensemble "Session Possible".
