Wolfmother is an Australian hard rock band formed in Sydney in 2004. Fronted by singer and guitarist Andrew Stockdale, the band blends 1970s-inspired hard rock with psychedelic and stoner-rock influences. Their self-titled 2005 debut album achieved international success and won the 2007 Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance for the song "Woman". Since then the group has released several studio albums and toured extensively worldwide, including appearances at major festivals.
