About
The Zucchini Sistaz are a three-part singing female trio founded in 2009 in Munster, Germany, who revive big-band classics and popular songs of the 1920s to 1950s in their own minimalist arrangements. The ensemble comprises Sinje Schnittker (vocals, trumpet, trombone and other wind instruments), Jule Balandat (vocals, double bass) and Tina Werzinger (vocals, guitar). With fishnet stockings, false eyelashes and acrobatic stage antics, they blend hearty swing with situational comedy. They playfully bill their act as "gemusikalische Unterhaltungskunst" (vegetable-themed musical entertainment), transporting audiences back to the golden swing era.
