The Rheinisches Landestheater Neuss (RLT) is one of North Rhine-Westphalia’s four state theatres, founded in 1925 as the Rheinisches Städtebundtheater. Since December 2000 the company has performed in the striking “Horten-Haus” on Oberstraße in central Neuss, whose main stage seats 443. As the region’s largest touring drama theatre, the RLT also plays regularly in many towns across the Lower Rhine and the Rhineland. Its repertoire ranges from classic drama and contemporary plays to theatre for children and young audiences. In 2025 the house celebrated its 100th anniversary.
