The Evangelical Lutheran Johanniskirche in Bielefeld was built between 1899 and 1901 to designs by Bielefeld architect Alexander Trappen and consecrated on 6 November 1901. Designed as a hall church with a semi-circular apse in the style of Rhenish Late Romanesque Revival, it still serves as a parish church today and regularly hosts organ recitals and church music concerts.
