St. Remigius in Leverkusen-Opladen is a Neo-Gothic brick hall church whose current building was constructed in 1862 to designs by architect Vinzenz Statz; predecessor buildings on the site are documented as far back as the 13th century. After severe war damage, the church was rebuilt between 1945 and 1952 through great community effort and reconsecrated at Pentecost 1952. Alongside the parish's regular services, the church also hosts concerts.
