Barbara Ruscher (born 1969 in Rheinbach) is a German cabaret artist and author who has lived in Cologne since 1998 and performs on German-language cabaret stages across the country. She has received several awards, including the Eschweiler Lok and a bronze placement in the Kabarettbundesliga. In 2013 she published her debut novel "Fuck the Möhrchen. Ein Baby packt aus", followed by further books. On television she hosted "Extra 3 Spezial" on NDR and appeared on programmes such as Ladies Night, Spätschicht and Mitternachtsspitzen. Her current stage programme is titled "Romantik – aber zack, zack!".
