Ben Schafmeister is a young German comedian, musician and host who has been performing on stage since childhood. He gained wider recognition as the moderator of the cult German comedy format NightWash, hosting a large number of shows each year. His comedy blends dark humour, sharp timing and lively audience interaction. He openly and self-deprecatingly draws on his experience of Tourette syndrome as well as everyday topics such as single life. His first solo programme, "Ein Tic anders," combines self-written songs, stand-up, improvisation and audience participation rather than classic stand-up.
